We met Kim at 6 PM on a Saturday after my father suffered a health crisis that made it difficult for him to talk or live independently. We live out-of-state and had to get home, so she hustled over to look at the house and get the process started. She was incredibly understanding and respectful of my dad and his health problems, and went out of her way to include him in the process - I was so impressed by her empathy. I had never sold a house before and she patiently walked me through, step-by-step, as I was also working to get my father moved, assessed, and ultimately placed in a memory care unit. She was so kind and understanding! Furthermore, she organized things like getting a house cleaner, getting the fireplace repaired, hiring a plumber... Things that would've taken forever for me to do remotely just got done, as if by magic! She was always avaliable for questions and support, which I so appreciate. The house had an offer within a week of going on the market (highly impressive given its rural location) and when there were issues with the appraisal, she advocated for us and had excellent advice about how to proceed. The sale of my father's house is going to be able to fund the care and attention he needs, which is a huge relief, and I know he is relieved that his care isn't going to be a financial burden to his children.
