BUYERS-WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT LOANS
The amount you'll need for a down payment can vary depending on the type of loan you choose and your personal financial situation. While a 20% down payment is often cited as the standard, many homebuyers, especially first-time buyers, put down much less.
For example:
🔹Conventional loans may require as little as 3% down.
🔹FHA loans typically require a 3.5% down payment.
🔹VA and USDA loans may offer 0% down options for eligible buyers.
🔹Idaho-specific programs and local down payment assistance options can help reduce the upfront costs even further.
